About the role

The Clinical Engineering Cyber Specialist will protect medical devices and healthcare technology systems from cyber threats. Working onsite in Far Rockaway, NY, you will collaborate with engineering, clinical, and compliance teams to ensure robust security across the organization.

Key responsibilities

• Lead technical cybersecurity initiatives for medical devices and clinical engineering assets.
• Perform vulnerability remediation, risk assessments, and threat modeling.
• Coordinate cross‑functional efforts to align security controls with FDA and Joint Commission requirements.
• Maintain and configure CMMS platforms to support secure asset management.
• Develop and enforce cybersecurity policies based on NIST and ISO frameworks.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of experience in medical device cybersecurity or a healthcare technology environment.
• Strong knowledge of CMMS platforms and regulatory standards (FDA, Joint Commission).
• Proven ability to lead security projects and work with multidisciplinary teams.
