About the role

The University of Miami, Bascom Palmer Eye Institute is seeking a full‑time Clinical Business Operations Representative to support daily clinical operations in Palm Beach Gardens. The role involves managing patient intake, answering calls, and ensuring accurate documentation.

Key responsibilities

• Assist with pre‑ and post‑patient care expectations, obtaining and reviewing demographic, insurance, and referral information.
• Answer multiple telephone lines, triage calls, direct inquiries, and document messages in the appropriate software.
• Greet visitors, handle inquiries, and coordinate with physicians, managers, and staff to maintain smooth practice flow.
• Provide coverage for co‑workers as needed and maintain confidentiality of all patient information.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent; no prior experience required.
• Strong learning agility, teamwork orientation, and clear written and verbal communication skills.

Required skills

• Proficiency with office software and general computer applications.
• Comfortable using relevant technology tools for administrative tasks.
