Clinic Receptionist – OBGYN (Full‑Time)

About the role

The Clinic Receptionist will be the first point of contact for patients and visitors at our OBGYN department. You will ensure a smooth patient flow, provide courteous service, and support the clinical team with front‑desk operations.

Key responsibilities

• Greet patients and visitors, verify identity, and complete check‑in procedures.
• Schedule appointments following office guidelines and manage the appointment calendar.
• Answer and direct phone calls, handle inquiries, and provide accurate information.
• Collect co‑pays, deductibles, and time‑of‑service payments, and process past‑due balances.
• Validate insurance eligibility, enter patient demographics and insurance details into the Electronic Health Record (EHR) system.
• Copy/scan patient documents (IDs, referrals, insurance cards) into the appropriate electronic records.
• Maintain confidentiality of patient information and adhere to clinic and regulatory policies.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills in English.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a shared‑leadership environment.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (or obtain within 3 months of hire).
• Completion of Mandatory Reporter abuse training within 3 months of hire.
