Clinic Manager – Medical Specialty Clinics

About the role

The Clinic Manager oversees daily clinical and operational functions for assigned specialty clinics, working closely with providers and staff to ensure high‑quality patient care.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in developing quality improvement plans and ensure compliance with regulations.
• Manage capital and operational budgets, reviewing cost‑center performance monthly.
• Develop policies, procedures, and job descriptions; identify process improvements.
• Coordinate staff orientation, competency validation, scheduling, and performance documentation.
• Serve as super‑user for scheduling and EMR software, providing training and ongoing support.
• Maintain a professional atmosphere for patients, families, providers, and staff.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Management, Business Administration, or Nursing (LPN/RN); high school diploma with relevant experience may be considered.
• Minimum 3‑4 years of healthcare experience; management experience preferred.
• Current Missouri LPN/RN license (if applicable) and valid driver’s license.
• American Heart Association Basic Life Support certification.

Required skills

• Proficiency with scheduling and EMR software.
• Knowledge of quality assurance, regulatory compliance (OSHA, CMS, HIPAA, JC).
• Ability to develop budgets and monitor staffing ratios.
