About the role
The Office LPN supports physicians and mid‑level providers in an orthopedic and podiatry clinic, delivering patient assessments, treatments, testing, and education in a fast‑paced environment.
Key responsibilities
- Administer oral, IM, and SC medications as ordered and perform point‑of‑care lab testing.
- Assist providers with procedures, maintain sterile fields, and manage instrument trays.
- Conduct phone triage, relay test results, and provide patient education, including MyChart enrollment.
- Document chief complaints, obtain vitals, and update medication lists per provider preference.
- Schedule diagnostic and therapeutic procedures, obtain pre‑authorizations, and train clinic LPNs and MAs.
Required profile
- Graduate of an accredited LPN program with approved IV therapy course.
- Current LPN license in Missouri and American Heart Association Basic Life Support certification.
- Ability to lift up to 35 lb, stand, walk, and perform frequent patient handling.
Required skills
- Current LPN license (state of Missouri).
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
