Clinic LPN – Float Pool (Full-Time M-F)

About the role

Phelps Health is seeking a full‑time Clinic LPN to join its float pool, working Monday through Friday in a busy medical office setting. The LPN will support physicians and advanced practice providers by delivering direct patient care, performing assessments, and handling administrative tasks.

Key responsibilities

• Administer oral, intramuscular and subcutaneous medications as ordered and perform point‑of‑care lab testing.
• Assist providers with procedures, maintain a sterile field, and manage instrument trays.
• Conduct phone triage, relay test results to patients, and provide patient education on MyChart.
• Document chief complaints, obtain vital signs, and escort patients to exam rooms.
• Schedule diagnostic and therapeutic procedures and obtain necessary pre‑authorizations.

Required profile

• Graduate of an accredited LPN program with a current Missouri LPN license.
• American Heart Association Basic Life Support certification.
• Ability to multitask in a fast‑paced environment and maintain high professionalism.

Required skills

• IV therapy administration.
• Medication administration (oral, IM, SC).
• Point‑of‑care laboratory testing and specimen collection.
• Proficiency with electronic health record systems (e.g., MyChart).
