Clinic LPN – Cardiology Clinic

About the role

The Clinic LPN supports physicians and mid‑level providers in a busy cardiology practice. You will deliver assessments, treatments, testing and patient education while maintaining a high level of professionalism and organization.

Key responsibilities

• Follow clinic policies for patient safety, infection prevention and safe handling.
• Administer oral, intramuscular and subcutaneous medications as ordered.
• Assist providers with procedures, maintain sterile fields and manage instrument trays.
• Perform phone triage, relay test results and act as liaison between provider and patient.
• Document chief complaints, obtain vitals, and update medication lists.
• Conduct point‑of‑care lab testing and collect specimens.
• Schedule diagnostic and therapeutic procedures and obtain required authorizations.

Required profile

• Graduate of an accredited LPN program with a current Missouri LPN license.
• American Heart Association Basic Life Support certification.
• Ability to lift up to 35 lb, stand, walk and perform frequent patient handling.
• Strong attention to detail, critical thinking and ability to multitask in a fast‑paced environment.

Required skills

• IV therapy administration.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Medication administration (oral, IM, SC).
• Point‑of‑care laboratory testing.
