Client Manager - Business Insurance

About the role

Marsh McLennan Agency (MMA) is hiring a Client Manager for business insurance. The role manages client accounts, ensures timely service delivery and enhances customer satisfaction. It covers coordinating the marketing process, preparing proposals, binding coverage and keeping policy documentation accurate, while assisting clients with their insurance needs.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee the servicing of a diverse book of business, ensuring accuracy and proper handling of policies, endorsements and client requests.
• Gather and prepare submission information for the marketing process, including applications and schedules.
• Prepare and present insurance proposals, bind coverage according to agency guidelines and keep policy documentation accurate.
• Assist with marketing and placement of new and renewal business, including pre-renewal packets, loss runs and proposal summaries.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for clients and build strong relationships with clients and carriers.
• Assess clients' business risk programs and advise on coverage enhancements and renewals.
• Work with producers and cross-functional teams on client activities.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 3+ years of experience in customer service, underwriting or commercial lines insurance preferred.
• Familiarity with insurance company markets, binding authority and underwriting guidelines preferred.
• Property/Casualty license or ability to obtain one is required.
• AAI, CIC, CISR or CRIS designation preferred; some college or higher education is a plus.

• Detailed, organized and able to manage time and work under pressure.
• Strong analytical skills, negotiation of quotations and evaluation of client needs.
• Ability to work in a team and handle multiple tasks.
