Client Analyst - Commercial Lines

About the role

The Client Analyst position prepares individuals for a career in client service through a structured program at Marsh McLennan Agency. It is designed to educate and prepare self-motivated people for a career in the insurance industry, with training from experienced insurance professionals.

Key responsibilities

• Respond to departmental requests for administrative assistance
• Maintain files and records in eMMA and set up client shells in Sagitta
• Provide clerical support such as copying, faxing, mass mailings, assembling binders and scanning files
• Download department mail from carrier websites daily and sort, scan and distribute tasks mail and communications via ImageRight
• Process Loss Run reports, request them monthly according to carrier requirements, follow up until they are received and filed electronically, and inform the Client Administrator or Manager of delays
• Build effective working relations with colleagues, learn the department and its functions, and identify training needs for advancement
• Report system or process issues to the supervisor, enroll in an AIS or AINS designation course and earn a P&C producer license upon completing the program

Required profile

• Ability to obtain an Arizona Property & Casualty Producer License within 90 days of hire
• 1+ years in an office or customer service environment
• Excellent written and verbal communication, time management, organization and multi-tasking skills with attention to detail
• Ability to build relationships with carriers, peers and clients, and to work independently and in cross-functional teams
