Classical Grammar Faculty Scholar (1st Grade)

About the role

Charter Schools USA seeks a Classical Grammar Faculty Scholar to teach 1st‑grade scholars. You will introduce students to the foundational "grammar" of learning, combining rigorous academics with virtue‑based education.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and deliver a classical curriculum aligned with the CSUSA educational philosophy and the Trivium.
• Develop purposeful lesson plans using explicit instruction, imitation, recitation, narration, copywork, dictation, and guided discussion.
• Engage scholars through deep content interaction and encourage virtuous responses in discussion and conduct.
• Review scholar records, maintain accurate documentation, and tailor instruction to individual needs.
• Differentiate instruction using varied teaching modalities to maximize academic achievement and character formation.
• Conduct regular diagnostic assessments and adjust instruction accordingly.
