Radiologic Technology Program Chair

About the role

The State of Georgia seeks an experienced leader to head the Radiologic Technology Program at Georgia Piedmont Technical College. Reporting to the Dean and Division Chair of Allied Health, the Program Chair will guide academic, administrative, and instructional activities to ensure a high‑quality educational experience.

Key responsibilities

• Provide overall program administration, including budgeting and resource allocation.
• Supervise faculty, coordinate curriculum development, and ensure compliance with JRCERT accreditation standards.
• Lead student success initiatives, manage clinical education placements, and maintain partnerships with healthcare organizations.
• Oversee accreditation processes, self‑studies, and site visits.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in Radiologic Technology, Health Sciences, Education, Healthcare Administration, or a related field.
• Current ARRT certification in Radiography and an unrestricted Georgia Radiologic Technologist license.
• Minimum five years of clinical experience in diagnostic radiography and two years of teaching experience in an accredited program.
• Demonstrated knowledge of JRCERT accreditation standards and strong organizational skills.
