Claims Service Representative - Business Insurance

About the role

Marsh McLennan Agency's Midwest Region is a full-service brokerage offering business insurance, employee benefits, private client insurance and retirement services. As a Claims Service Representative on the Business Insurance Claims team, you will be the key link between clients, service staff and insurance carriers, handling claim information processing and keeping claims moving from start to finish.

Key responsibilities

• Process claim information and guide clients through reporting procedures
• Support Claims Consultants with timely status updates, report preparation and help resolving client questions
• Maintain accurate, organized claim documentation

Required profile

• At least 1 year of experience processing and managing insurance claims accurately
• Strong communication skills and ability to guide clients and work with internal teams
• Ability to prioritize workload and manage several tasks at once
• Commitment to timeliness, quality and data integrity
• Plus: BA/BS in Business, Insurance or a related field, intermediate Microsoft Office skills, familiarity with insurance coverage terms and claims strategy, and previous support of claims consultants or managers

• Base salary of $39,200 to $72,900, depending on experience, skills, location and other factors, with possible performance-based incentives
