Claims Coordinator

About the role

The Claims Coordinator is the hub of all claims at ServiceMaster Restore's Phoenix location. The role involves speaking with customers and insurance professionals and following up on ongoing jobs so that required deadlines are met. The coordinator follows up daily with teammates to make sure documentation, estimates and procedures are followed, and works in a fast-paced environment.

Key responsibilities

• Answer phones and assist with office duties
• Manage data entry in the CRM system for each claim from start to finish
• Monitor and update jobs so they move efficiently through the claims process
• Review compliance tasks daily and make sure every job task is completed on time
• Understand the claims flow for water mitigation, reconstruction and contents
• Make sure photos and documents are properly described, titled and uploaded
• Follow up with homeowners for missing data and insurance and mortgage information
• Assist with job estimates and review final estimates
• Maintain daily communication with customers, insurance agents and adjusters, and enter daily notes in all jobs

Required profile

• High school diploma or GED
• Exceptional customer service skills
• Dependable, adaptable and able to handle confidential information
• Strong problem-solving skills
• Experience with customer interaction and conflict resolution

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Outlook
• CRM software
• Xactimate experience is helpful but not required
