Chief Financial Officer (CFO) – AI-Native Insurance & Acquisitions Platform

About the role

COVU is seeking a Chief Financial Officer to own its full financial system and drive the next phase of growth. The CFO will lead capital planning, support acquisitions, and build a predictable operating rhythm while ensuring margin‑positive customer experiences.

Key responsibilities

• Define and execute capital strategy, balancing debt and equity to fund acquisitions and operations.
• Lead debt financing initiatives, including warehouse lines, senior secured facilities, and acquisition financing.
• Prepare lender and investor materials, manage credit stories, and oversee covenant compliance.
• Support the CEO in equity fundraising, investor communications, and diligence readiness.
• Build and manage an FP&A function that delivers budgeting, forecasting, scenario planning, and regular operating cadence.
• Provide executive and board dashboards with leading business indicators, unit economics, and acquisition ROI tracking.
• Establish capital deployment guardrails tied to integration capacity, workflow margin visibility, and customer‑experience metrics.

Required profile

• Proven senior finance leadership experience, preferably as a CFO or Finance Director.
• Deep expertise in capital planning, debt and equity financing, and M&A underwriting.
• Ability to translate detailed financial controls into strategic capital narratives for lenders and investors.
• Experience presenting financial performance and risk metrics to boards and senior executives.
• Strong track record of building disciplined FP&A processes and driving predictable business performance.
