Chief Executive Officer, USA

About the role

The Chief Executive Officer for dnata USA will lead the overall strategic direction, economic performance and long‑term development of dnata’s U.S. portfolio, which includes ground handling, logistics and cargo businesses. Based at the U.S. headquarters in Orlando, the role requires frequent travel and full P&L accountability.

Key responsibilities

• Define and execute the USA business strategy, five‑year plan and roadmap aligned with global direction and board priorities.
• Drive growth, financial performance and cash generation in partnership with regional leadership.
• Lead transformation through automation, digitalisation and process improvement.
• Ensure safe, reliable and efficient service across all operations while meeting regulatory and safety standards.
• Own P&L, revenue, profit, capital efficiency and sustainable returns.
• Develop annual budgets, investment, staffing and productivity plans.
• Maintain compliance with governance frameworks and oversee risk across safety, finance and regulation.
• Champion safety culture, incident prevention and crisis response.
• Lead, develop and empower the executive management team and oversee succession planning.
• Build relationships with customers, regulators, airport authorities and industry partners.

Required profile

• Degree or honours qualification in Business, Finance, Operations or related field.
• At least 12 years experience in logistics, aviation or airport operations, with 6 years in a C‑suite role.
• Deep knowledge of U.S. aviation laws, insurance, employment law and D&O insurance.
• Proven ability to lead multifunctional teams in a matrix organisation.
• Executive presence, strong communication and negotiation skills.
• Legal right to work in the United States.

What we offer

• Annual base salary USD 320,000 – 350,000.
• Eligibility for company incentive bonus and executive benefit programs.
