Supervisory Property Disposal Specialist

About the role

The Supervisory Property Disposal Specialist implements reverse logistics solutions and oversees the efficient, cost‑effective flow of excess property from declaration to disposition, ensuring value recovery or compliant disposal.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and manage the flow of spare materials, in‑process inventory, and related information from excess declaration to disposition.
• Advise agencies on disposal policies and guide the interpretation and use of those policies.
• Collaborate with customers to determine short‑ and long‑term requirements and refine disposal processes.
• Evaluate constraints of Military Commands or customers and recommend appropriate actions.
• Demonstrate capabilities of newly automated disposal methods and operational techniques.

Required profile

• U.S. citizenship with Non‑Critical Sensitive security clearance and Secret access.
• One year of specialized experience in property disposal, reutilization, transfer, donation, sales, abandonment, or destruction.
• Experience monitoring supplies/services, validating customer support goals, and analyzing performance measures.
• Ability to meet USCENTCOM physical requirements for overseas deployment.
• Completion of Supervisory Certification Program and required supervisory probation.
