Chemical Process Engineer – Manufacturing

About the role

The Chemical Process Engineer will support the conversion of new tire designs into manufacturable products, ensuring compliance with plant equipment specifications and corporate design manuals. This role involves troubleshooting, process improvement, and maintaining product and quality system integrity within a manufacturing environment.

Key responsibilities

• Lead optimization of manufacturing processes for legacy and next‑generation tire products.
• Develop and validate test methods, document technology and quality standards, and enforce quality management systems.
• Collaborate with internal customers to create new test methods and troubleshoot existing equipment.
• Participate in project status reporting, intellectual property evaluations, and cross‑functional improvement initiatives.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical, chemical, material science, industrial engineering or a related field.
• 0+ years of engineering experience in a manufacturing setting.
• Strong written and spoken English communication skills.

Required skills

• Statistical Process Control (SPC) methodology.
• Knowledge of chemical composition, structure, and processes.
• Understanding of production processes, quality control, and raw material handling.
