About the role

BBYO is seeking a Chapter Specialist to work directly with Jewish teens (grades 8‑12) in Raleigh, NC. You will help design and deliver engaging programming, support teen leaders, and drive chapter growth and sustainability.

Key responsibilities

  • Coach teens on recruitment, retention, and event planning to meet membership and engagement goals.
  • Attend chapter events as the adult mentor, providing guidance and supervision.
  • Track attendance, engagement, and membership data to inform strategy.
  • Ensure participation in regional and organization‑wide initiatives such as Kickoffs, conventions, and summer programs.
  • Collaborate with the regional team to share best practices and innovative ideas.

Required profile

  • At least three years removed from high school and able to work in‑person in Raleigh.
  • Flexible availability of 5‑10 hours per week, including some evenings and weekends.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills and detail‑orientation.
  • Unrestricted authorization to work in the United States.
  • Willingness to attend fall and spring conventions as scheduled.
