About the role

Prep Academy Tutors is seeking experienced University Advisors to provide in‑home guidance to students and families navigating the college admissions process in North Carolina and beyond.

Key responsibilities

• Guide students and families through every stage of college admissions, including school selection, application strategies, personal statements, extracurricular planning, scholarships, and timelines.
• Develop customized post‑secondary plans based on each student’s academic profile, interests, and goals.
• Collaborate with parents to keep them informed and supported throughout the admissions journey.

Required profile

• Current, valid North Carolina Professional Educator’s License or equivalent experience as a college admissions consultant, guidance counselor, or university advisor.
• Demonstrated experience supporting students in post‑secondary planning, college admissions, or academic advising at an accredited institution.
• Located in North Raleigh, Wake Forest, Cary, Apex, Brier Creek, or Leesville.
