Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) – Full-time

About the role

We are seeking a full‑time Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist to join the anesthesia team at Fairbanks Memorial Hospital in Interior Alaska. The position offers a unique 3‑weeks‑on, 2‑weeks‑off schedule, allowing ample time to explore the state’s outdoor activities while delivering high‑quality peri‑operative care.

Key responsibilities

• Provide anesthesia services for general surgery, orthopedics, OB/GYN, ENT, podiatry, pediatric and gastrointestinal procedures.
• Manage 4‑5 operating rooms daily and an additional out‑of‑OR assignment (OB or GI) under physician oversight.
• Perform pre‑operative assessments, intra‑operative management, and post‑operative follow‑up.
• Collaborate with a team of five anesthesiologists and up to twelve CRNAs.
• Maintain documentation and comply with hospital policies and state regulations.

Required profile

• Current certification as a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) in good standing.
• Experience in a broad range of surgical specialties, preferably in a rural or community hospital setting.
• Ability to work 12‑hour shifts with flexibility for early‑ending days.
• Commitment to professional autonomy and teamwork.

• Salary range $315,000‑$378,000 per year (DOE).
