Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) – Part‑Time

About the role

BAYADA Home Health Care is seeking a part‑time Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to join its Big Island Visits team in Hilo. You will work alongside an experienced Occupational Therapist to deliver rehabilitative care to clients in their homes.

Key responsibilities

• Follow established care plans and provide one‑on‑one therapy to improve patients' functional abilities, ADLs and IADLs.
• Educate patients, families, and caregivers on therapeutic activities that support health, safety, and independent living.
• Document observations, interventions, and evaluations accurately using a tablet‑based system.

Required profile

• Licensed Occupational Therapy Assistant in Hawaii.
• Willingness and ability to travel within the assigned territory.
• Graduated from an accredited OT curriculum or have two years of relevant experience and a satisfactory proficiency exam.
• At least one year of supervised work experience with a qualified Occupational Therapist.
