Certified Nursing Assistant – Full‑Time Days

About the role

The Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) works under the direct supervision of a licensed nurse to maintain patient safety and deliver basic patient care. The role involves constant observation, communication with patients and families, and performing delegated tasks to support the nursing team.

Key responsibilities

• Support the plan of care as delegated by the staff nurse within the scope of CNA duties.
• Maintain a clean and safe patient care environment.
• Provide care that addresses physical, psychosocial, educational, and safety needs of patients.
• Communicate patient needs effectively with patients, families, and multidisciplinary teams.
• Complete documentation of patient‑related tasks and adapt communication style to the patient population.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Hospital and telemetry experience preferred.
• Current state CNA certification.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification to be obtained within 30 days of hire.
• Crisis Prevention and Intervention (CPI) certification to be obtained within 30 days of hire.
