Certified Nursing Assistant – Full Time

About the role

Cabinet Peaks Medical Center seeks a Certified Nursing Assistant to join its Acute Care/Medical‑Surgical team. The CNA provides basic nursing care, assists with daily living activities, and supports a safe, clean environment under RN supervision.

Key responsibilities

• Communicate patient status changes to the RN and other staff.
• Assist with admissions, transfers, discharges, and patient transports.
• Perform point‑of‑care testing and document care according to policies.
• Operate equipment safely and maintain patient confidentiality.
• Support a culture of safety, quality, and compliance with confidentiality policies.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Current MT CNA license.
• BLS certification (or obtain within 3 months of hire).
• 6 months to 1 year related experience preferred, not required.

Required skills

• Basic computer knowledge.
• Knowledge of medical terminology.
• Effective verbal and written communication in English.
