Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) – Home Health Care

About the role

We are seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to provide compassionate personal care and support to patients in their homes across New York, Ohio, Pennsylvania and South Florida. The CNA will work under the supervision of a Registered Nurse to ensure each client’s health and comfort according to their personal care plan.

Key responsibilities

• Assist patients with bathing, dressing, transferring, ambulation and other personal hygiene tasks.
• Perform household duties such as making beds, changing linens, laundry and light housekeeping.
• Plan, prepare and serve nutritious meals and assist with feeding as directed.
• Document all services accurately and timely in accordance with company policy.
• Measure and record temperature, pulse, respiration and blood pressure when ordered.
• Maintain patient confidentiality at all times.
• Carry out any additional duties assigned by supervisory staff.

Required profile

• Successful completion of a state‑approved CNA program.
• Minimum of one year of CNA experience.
• Current CNA certification and willingness to complete 12 hours of continuing education annually.
• Ability to follow instructions from RN supervisors and adhere to personal care plans.

Required skills

• Measurement and recording of vital signs (temperature, pulse, respiration, blood pressure).
• Personal care assistance (bathing, dressing, ambulation).
• Meal preparation and feeding support.
• Accurate documentation of patient care activities.
