Certified Nurse Aide – Part‑time Home Care

About the role

Join Ambercare as a Certified Nurse Aide to provide compassionate home care for seniors and individuals with disabilities, helping them live independently while enjoying flexible, part‑time hours.

Key responsibilities

• Remind clients to take medication at the appropriate time.
• Assist with therapy exercises under a Registered Therapist’s direction.
• Provide personal care such as bathing, grooming, dressing, and oral hygiene.
• Perform light housekeeping, including changing linens, cleaning, and laundry.
• Offer companionship, accompany clients to appointments, and engage in activities.
• Observe and report changes in client condition to the Agency Director or Service Coordinator.
• Turn or reposition bedridden patients and examine for injuries.

Required profile

• Completion of Certified Nursing Assistant training.
• Satisfactory background check and a valid driver’s license.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Reliable, energetic, self‑motivated and well‑organized.
