Certified Home Health Aide (CHHA)

About the role

BAYADA is seeking compassionate Certified Home Health Aides to provide one‑on‑one care for clients in their homes, following a written plan of care under RN supervision.

Key responsibilities

• Assist with bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting and personal hygiene.
• Prepare meals, feed clients and provide medication reminders.
• Perform light housekeeping, laundry, bed making and other household tasks.
• Help with ambulation, transfers, range‑of‑motion exercises and vital sign checks.
• Offer companionship, emotional support and promote client independence.

Required profile

• Compassionate, patient, dependable and respectful.
• Willingness to travel to clients’ homes and work independently.
• Ability to communicate in English; Spanish speakers welcome.

Required skills

• Basic caregiving skills such as personal hygiene assistance and mobility support.
• Meal preparation and light housekeeping.
