Part‑time Home Health Aide – Atlantic County

About the role

BAYADA Home Health Care is seeking an experienced Certified Home Health Aide (CHHA) for part‑time or per‑diem assignments across Atlantic County. You will join a multidisciplinary team delivering skilled nursing, rehabilitative care, and personal support to help clients remain safely at home.

Key responsibilities

• Assist clients with activities of daily living such as bathing, grooming, toileting, and nail care.
• Provide light housekeeping, meal preparation, laundry, and bed making.
• Support mobility through ambulation assistance, transfers, and use of mechanical lifting devices.
• Perform vital sign checks, range‑of‑motion exercises, and medication assistance.

Required profile

• Minimum one year of Home Health Aide experience.
• Active registration on the NJ Nurse Aide Registry in good standing.
• Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English.
• Successful completion of BAYADA’s competency evaluation and a criminal background check.

Required skills

• Certified Home Health Aide (CHHA) qualification.
• Knowledge of basic medical monitoring (temperature, pulse, respiration).
