Certified Anesthesiologist Assistant – Multi‑Specialty with Sign‑On Bonus

About the role

Cleveland Clinic is expanding its new neurological center and seeks Certified Anesthesiologist Assistants to support complex neuro procedures and a broad range of surgical specialties. The position offers a 24‑hour schedule with limited on‑call duties and opportunities for extra shifts.

Key responsibilities

• Administer anesthesia and monitor patients throughout surgical procedures.
• Obtain patient histories, perform relevant physical exam elements, and discuss anesthetic plans with supervising anesthesiologists.
• Pre‑test and calibrate anesthesia delivery systems, and manage blood products and supportive fluids.
• Respond to emergencies and provide appropriate interventions when complications arise.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or higher from an accredited institution.
• Current certification by the National Commission for Certification of Anesthesiologist Assistants.
• Valid BLS and ACLS certifications through the American Heart Association.
• 3–5 years of CAA experience in a high‑acuity hospital setting is strongly preferred.
