Interventional Radiology Technologist - Body PRN

About the role

This PRN position supports interventional radiology procedures on Cleveland Clinic's Main Campus. The technologist works variable shifts without on‑call responsibility, providing sterile assistance and patient care during vascular and interventional exams.

Key responsibilities

• Utilize sterile or aseptic technique to scrub in and perform vascular, interventional, and surgical procedures per protocol.
• Educate patients about procedures, equipment, and exams to ensure understanding and cooperation.
• Monitor equipment, maintain cleanliness, record injection data, fluoroscopic time, and procedural information.
• Ensure patient safety and comfort during and after exams.

Required profile

• Graduate of an accredited school of radiologic technology.
• Registered Technologist credentialed by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) and in good standing.
• Current state licensure as a Radiology Technologist.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.

Required skills

• Sterile technique and aseptic procedures.
• Vascular interventional and fluoroscopic imaging.
• Equipment monitoring and maintenance.
• Radiologic technology knowledge, including physics and computerized vascular equipment.
