CE Technician II – Clinical Engineering

About the role

The CE Technician II will support equipment planning, research, and departmental projects within Cleveland Clinic Martin North Hospital. This full‑time role works days, Monday‑Friday, with an on‑call rotation.

Key responsibilities

• Provide routine clinical engineering services including repair, maintenance, relocation, and installation of assigned medical equipment.
• Maintain accurate documentation of equipment inventory, service history, and repairs.
• Collaborate with IT staff to integrate medical equipment systems with information system applications.
• Perform preventative maintenance and repairs on assigned equipment.

Required profile

• Associate’s degree in biomedical or electronic engineering, or equivalent specialized/military training.
• 2 years of Cleveland Clinic Clinical Engineering Tech I experience or 4 years of relevant outside experience (or alternative combinations of education and experience as described).
• Physical ability to move 75 lb, climb 8‑foot ladders, work in prone and confined spaces, and use tools on small mechanical parts.
