CDL‑A City Delivery Driver – West Columbia

About the role

R+L Carriers is seeking reliable CDL‑A City Pickup & Delivery drivers for its West Columbia, SC service center. You will perform local freight deliveries and pickups, returning to the terminal each day.

Key responsibilities

• Make multiple city stops each workday, delivering and picking up freight.
• Use scanning equipment and interact directly with customers.
• Perform lift‑gate deliveries using an electric pallet jack when required.

Required profile

• Valid CDL Class A with at least 1 year of combined verifiable Class A experience within the past 3 years.
• Clean driving record (no serious violations, ≤3 moving violations in 3 years) and pass DOT physical, drug screen, and road test.
• Age 23 (or 21 if meeting FMCSA specs for military‑to‑civilian transition).

Required skills

• CDL Class A operation.
• Electric pallet‑jack handling.
• Haz‑mat endorsement (preferred).
• Local/LTL delivery experience (preferred).
