Transportation Manager

About the role

As a Transportation Manager you will lead transportation operations, develop high‑performing teams and ensure safe, efficient delivery of service. You will drive operational excellence through continuous improvement, cost management and effective leadership.

Key responsibilities

• Contain costs by routing customer orders efficiently and managing inbound freight dispatch.
• Utilize team and equipment cost‑effectively and manage transfer processes between distribution centers.
• Address and resolve customer issues and lead continuous improvement using lean tools.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent Dot experience.
• Excellent communication and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment.
• Customer‑focused mindset with commitment to operational excellence.
• Prior management experience (3‑5 years) and transportation experience preferred.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office programs.
