Full-Time Forklift Operator – 3rd Shift

About the role

R+L Carriers is seeking a reliable Forklift Operator for a third‑shift, full‑time position at its West Columbia, SC service center. The role starts at $22.33 per hour and runs Monday‑Friday from 1:00 AM to 9:30 AM.

Key responsibilities

• Move all types of freight safely in and out of enclosed trailers up to 53 feet long.
• Operate a forklift on a roofed, non‑climate‑controlled dock.
• Read and follow shipping manifests and interact with computer displays to track loads.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area while adhering to safety standards.

Required profile

• Physical ability to bend, lift, and stoop without difficulty.
• Dependable and able to work in a fast‑paced environment.
• Prior forklift experience, preferably in a high‑volume setting.
• Basic computer literacy for reading manifests and entering data.
