CDL A Team Truck Driver – $140k‑$160k Salary

About the role

We are seeking experienced CDL‑Class A Team Drivers to join R+L Carriers at our Matteson, IL service center. Drivers operate 53‑foot van trailers or double trailers on a 5‑day on‑road, 2‑day home schedule, earning an annual salary between $140 k and $160 k.

Key responsibilities

• Pull van trailers up to 53 ft or double trailers between service centers and turn‑point locations.
• Maintain on‑time deliveries while adhering to DOT safety regulations.
• Complete pre‑trip and post‑trip inspections and report any issues.
• Communicate with dispatch and follow routing instructions.
• Ensure safe operation of equipment at all times.

Required profile

• Valid CDL Class A with at least 1 year verifiable Class A driving experience in the past 3 years.
• Clean driving record (no serious violations, ≤3 moving violations in 3 years).
• Age 23 (or 21 with FMCSA military transition approval).
• Pass pre‑employment DOT physical, drug screen, and road test.
• Ability to lift, bend and stoop without difficulty.

Required skills

• Haz‑mat endorsement (preferred)
• Doubles/Triples endorsement (preferred)
