About the role

Lead a high‑performing Casualty Claims team in Webster, MA, overseeing both automobile and homeowners liability claims. This hybrid position blends strategic supervision with hands‑on guidance to ensure efficient, compliant claim resolutions and exceptional customer service.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise a unit handling first‑ and third‑party automobile casualty claims and third‑party homeowners liability claims.
• Monitor investigations, development, evaluation, reserving, negotiation, and settlement activities to maintain quality, efficiency, and policy compliance.
• Review claim files and performance metrics to ensure adherence to customer‑service standards, departmental guidelines, and regulatory requirements.
• Address escalated customer concerns with professionalism and empathy.
• Manage Division of Insurance and Chapter 93A complaint letters, ensuring timely responses.
• Audit oral and written communications, including voicemail, for clarity, timeliness, and professionalism.
• Foster a collaborative, positive team environment that encourages continuous improvement.

Required profile
