Case Analyst - Insurance Reimbursement Team

About the role

The Case Analyst/Legal Assistant supports health plans in subrogation and third‑party liability recovery, managing daily administration of insurance recovery cases so attorneys can focus on negotiations and settlements.

Key responsibilities

• Manage administrative tasks for active health‑plan subrogation and insurance recovery cases.
• Answer inbound calls and emails regarding TPL claims, liens, coverage questions, and documentation requests.
• Communicate with plaintiff attorneys, insurance adjusters, claim representatives, and carriers.
• Send lien notices, confirm receipt, and follow up on missing materials.
• Prepare, organize, and route documentation for Team Leads and Attorneys.
• Monitor case status, flag concerns, and maintain complete case notes in recovery systems.

Required profile

• Associate degree required; Bachelor’s preferred or equivalent experience (4+ years).
• Experience in insurance claims, health‑plan operations, subrogation, TPL, workers’ compensation, auto liability, or legal administration.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to handle high‑volume claim files.
• Excellent written and verbal communication with external stakeholders.

Required skills

• Familiarity with carriers, TPAs, and liability insurers.
• Proficiency in claims and recovery system documentation.
