Caregiver Position (CNA/HCA) – 8‑Hour Day Shift

About the role

Journey Nursing Services is seeking Certified Nursing Assistants (CNA) and Home Care Aides (HCA) for 8‑hour day shifts in Marysville, WA. The role involves providing hands‑on, patient‑centered care in homes, facilities, or adult family homes.

Key responsibilities

• Assist clients with activities of daily living such as grooming, bathing, feeding, toileting, and mobility.
• Monitor and report changes in patient condition, take vital signs, and follow individualized care plans.
• Promote skin integrity, prevent pressure ulcers, and ensure proper infection‑control practices.
• Perform delegated nursing tasks, including weight checks and applying prescribed creams or ointments.

Required profile

• High school diploma or GED.
• Valid CNA or HCA license for Washington State (or willingness to complete on‑site training).
• Good standing with Washington DSHS background check system.
• Reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license if providing client transport.

Required skills

• Ability to perform ADL assistance and basic patient care tasks.
• Competence in taking vital signs and documenting observations.
