Care Manager (CNA) Per-Diem 2nd Shift

About the role

Monarch/Brandywine Senior Living is hiring a Caregiver (CNA) for a per-diem, second-shift position (2:30 p.m. to 10:30 p.m.) in Litchfield. The role reports to the Health & Wellness Director and is a full-time or part-time, non-exempt, hourly position at $22.00 per hour.

Key responsibilities

• Assist residents in all aspects of their daily life according to each resident's care plan, including personal care, food service, housekeeping, laundry, behavior management, socialization and activities.
• Provide care such as bathing, dressing, toileting and feeding as outlined in the care plan.
• Maintain the safety, comfort, dignity and confidentiality of all residents.
• Escort residents to meals and activities.
• Ensure assigned residents are clean, neatly dressed and groomed, safe and fed during their shifts.
• Document all services provided to assigned residents during the shift.
• Report any change of condition in a resident immediately to the supervisor.

Required profile

• Certified Nursing Assistant or Certified Home Health Aid.
• Knowledge and experience working with the elderly population, preferred with dementia experience.
• Able to stand, walk, sit, use fine and gross motor skills, balance, stoop, kneel and crouch, and to lift or carry up to 50 lbs intermittently while using proper body mechanics.
