Assistant Wellness Director - Registered Nurse

About the role

Monarch/Brandywine Senior Living is looking for an Assistant Wellness Director to join its team in Litchfield, CT. You will work closely with the Wellness Director to develop, implement and manage wellness programs that promote employee health and well-being. The position is full-time.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in designing and running wellness initiatives, health education programs and fitness activities
• Work with department heads to integrate wellness programs across the organization
• Run day-to-day operations of wellness facilities and oversee wellness staff
• Develop and maintain wellness budgets, track expenses and ROI, and analyze program data into reports on participation, outcomes and effectiveness
• Coordinate health screenings, wellness challenges and educational workshops
• Keep up with industry trends and help write marketing materials for wellness programs
• Provide one-on-one coaching and support to employees on health and wellness topics
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations

Required profile

• RN certified in the State of Connecticut
• 3-5 years of experience in wellness program management or a related field
• Certified Wellness Practitioner (CWP) or similar certification preferred
• Proven ability to lead and motivate teams, with strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Flexibility to work occasional evenings and weekends for wellness events
