Cardiac Sonographer – Full Time

About the role

Cabinet Peaks Medical Center seeks a Cardiac Sonographer to join its Imaging team, performing adult and pediatric echocardiography and preparing preliminary reports for cardiologist review.

Key responsibilities

• Perform routine 2‑D, stress, pharmacological stress, contrast‑enhanced stress, and emergent echo procedures, including advanced techniques such as strain imaging.
• Operate, maintain, and clean ultrasound equipment, reporting any malfunctions.
• Review patient records, obtain history, and ensure patient comfort and safety during exams.
• Prepare preliminary reports with comparisons to prior studies for cardiologist interpretation.
• Participate in education, meetings, and quality‑improvement projects.

Required profile

• Graduate of an accredited Cardiovascular Sonography program.
• ARDMS certification in Adult Echocardiography.
• Minimum two years of adult echocardiography experience.
• American Heart Association ACLS certification.
