Cardiac Monitoring Technician – Clinical Monitoring I

About the role

As a Clinical Monitoring Technician you will analyze ECG data, generate reports and support patient care using Philips’ ECG Solutions Wireless and Holter technologies. The position offers hands‑on experience with Independent Diagnostic Testing Facility (IDTF) software and a $4,000 sign‑on bonus for qualified candidates.

Key responsibilities

• Receive, analyze, and process incoming ECG transmissions using IDTF software, ensuring accurate technical evaluation.
• Identify irregular cardiac rhythms, flag questionable events, and escalate complex cases to senior technicians or clinical staff.
• Review ECG recordings, correlate findings with patient‑reported symptoms, and document observations for clinical evaluation.
• Maintain strict quality‑assurance standards for all ECG reports, meeting productivity and accuracy metrics.
• Participate in a structured training program followed by a ramp‑up period before assuming regular shift duties.

Required profile

• High School Diploma or vocational education; active CRAT or CCT certification (or obtainable within 180 days), RN license, or licensed paramedic with current ACLS certification.
• Minimum 1 + year experience in ECG rhythm interpretation.
• Open availability for rotating days, evenings, overnights, weekends and holidays.
• Ability to meet physical, cognitive and environmental job requirements with or without accommodation.
