About the role
As a Clinical Monitoring Technician, you’ll play a key role in improving patient care by analyzing ECG data and generating reports, all while gaining valuable hands‑on experience with cutting‑edge ECG Solution Holter technologies. This role is eligible for a $4,000 sign‑on bonus for candidates possessing a CRAT or CCT certification, with at least 1 year of ECG interpretation experience, and who successfully pass the internal ECG assessment conducted post‑offer.
Key responsibilities
- Receive, analyze, and process incoming ECG transmissions and related events using Independent Diagnostic Testing Facility (IDTF) software, ensuring accurate technical evaluation and timely completion.
- Identify and flag irregular or questionable cardiac rhythms, applying cardiac pattern knowledge and escalating cases promptly to higher‑level technicians or clinical staff.
- Review ECG recordings to accurately identify normal and abnormal cardiac rhythms, correlate findings with patient‑reported symptoms, and thoroughly document observations for clinical review.
- Ensure strict adherence to quality‑assurance standards for all analyzed ECG data, maintaining consistent accuracy and reliability in every report.
- Contribute to the Clinical Monitoring department’s success by consistently meeting or exceeding performance standards and key productivity indicators.
- Maintain a high level of accuracy and quality while completing responsibilities on time in a collaborative, team‑based environment.
Required profile
- High School Diploma or Vocational Education.
- 1+ years of experience in ECG rhythm interpretation and an active CRAT or CCT certification, RN license, or licensed Paramedic with current ACLS certification.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, technical acumen, and excellent computer skills, with the ability to navigate multiple technical platforms simultaneously.
- Ability to perform the minimum physical, cognitive, and environmental job requirements with or without accommodation.
- Excellent communication, attention to detail, collaborative mindset, and ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast‑paced environment.
