About the role

Exceptional care starts with exceptional people. This position leads patient care for cardiac heart failure patients at the Baton Rouge clinic, using the nursing process within the Nurse Practice Act and ANA standards.

Key responsibilities

Utilize the nursing process to deliver high‑quality patient care and assess learning needs of patients and families.
Communicate, delegate, and manage nursing team resources, serving as a leader on the interdisciplinary team.
Evaluate data to promote change and achieve optimal outcomes while maintaining cultural sensitivity.
Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local regulations and accreditation standards.

Required profile

Graduate of an accredited nursing school; Bachelor’s degree in nursing preferred.
Current RN license in the state of practice and Basic Life Support certification.
Ability to work independently in a fast‑paced environment with strong organizational and time‑management skills.
Leadership experience or supervisory experience preferred.
