Campus Organizer – Pittsburgh

About the role

Project 26 Pennsylvania seeks a dynamic Campus Organizer to mobilize students in Pittsburgh, driving voter registration and turnout for upcoming elections. You will work directly on campus and in the community, leading teams of fellows and volunteers.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and run youth programming that engages students and increases voter participation.
• Recruit, hire, train, and manage paid fellows and volunteers to expand peer‑to‑peer outreach.
• Collect and enter voter registration data accurately into platforms such as America Votes and BLOCKS.
• Build relationships with student leaders and community organizations to broaden organizing reach.

Required profile

• Comfortable speaking with large numbers of students and cold‑approaching strangers.
• Creative, scrappy, and able to problem‑solve in real time.
• Highly organized self‑starter who can juggle multiple priorities.
• Willingness to work weekends, irregular hours, and travel within the Pittsburgh area.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable car.
• Live near or willing to relocate to a focus campus in Pittsburgh.
