Campaign Director, PR

About the role

TEAM LEWIS, a global marketing agency, is looking for a Campaign Director, PR in Boston. This is a senior strategic and creative client-facing position that leads a team of campaign executives and campaign managers and works with senior management to deliver a creative, forward-thinking client service. The role also involves developing the client relationship by identifying and selling additional services.

Key responsibilities

• Client management: build a strategic relationship with the client, define KPIs, deadlines and service agreements, and lead the new business process with the Business Development Director
• Media relations: create media opportunities, advise on narrative and storytelling, and share media knowledge with the team
• Content: oversee high-quality content, quality control and the content strategy with the client
• Digital and social media: promote new tools and processes, give social media insight and help sell digital services
• Team leadership: coach, supervise and assess team members, set objectives, monitor budgets and fees, and recruit and retain talent
• Reporting and analysis: ensure account profitability, report account performance and KPIs to the client and senior management
• Training, brand promotion and supporting the HR/talent team

Required profile

• 5+ years of experience in a B2B, corporate, consumer or digital communications agency at Senior Campaign Manager or Campaign Director level
• Track record of retaining clients and growing account revenue
• Commercial mindset with strong strategic client consultancy skills
• Able to consult on PR requirements and broader marketing strategy, and to secure new business
• Assertive, influential leader able to motivate a team

Required skills

• Well versed in social media and the integration of digital marketing into PR
• PR and marketing strategy consultancy
