Buyer & Purchasing Agent AI Trainer (Remote, Part‑time Consultant)

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Buyer and Purchasing professional to join our AI Labor Marketplace as a remote, part‑time consultant. In this role you will design and evaluate realistic procurement scenarios that are used to train and benchmark large language models, helping to improve AI reasoning in supply‑chain contexts.

Key responsibilities

• Create complex, real‑world procurement and sourcing prompts based on your professional experience.
• Define clear, objective rubrics for assessing AI‑generated responses.
• Evaluate AI reasoning against the rubrics and produce detailed feedback.
• Write gold‑standard reference answers that reflect senior‑level judgment.
• Follow project guidelines and maintain consistent quality standards.

Required profile

• 10+ years of experience in procurement, sourcing, or supply‑chain management.
• Background in retail, manufacturing, or other complex supply environments.
• Strong written communication and analytical abilities.
• Ability to translate real‑world work into structured, evaluable tasks.
• Prior experience with data annotation or AI evaluation is a plus.
