Buyer – Procurement Operations

About the role

Morris & Dickson Co. is seeking a detail‑oriented Buyer to support its purchasing operations. This entry‑level position offers hands‑on experience with ERP systems, purchase order management, and vendor coordination in a fast‑paced, growth‑focused environment.

Key responsibilities

• Enter and track purchase orders for routine categories.
• Maintain item and pricing data integrity within ERP systems.
• Assist senior Buyers with order entry, reporting, and basic procurement analytics.
• Generate and distribute standard procurement reports.
• Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, Pricing, and other internal teams.
• Provide administrative support for shortage and recall tasks.

Required profile

• 2+ years of experience in an office or business environment; exposure to procurement, purchasing, or supply‑chain is a plus.
• Degree in Business, Supply Chain, Finance, or a related field preferred.
• Strong communication and collaboration abilities.
• Organized, dependable, and adaptable with a willingness to learn.
