About the role
R+L Carriers is seeking a reliable Part‑Time Forklift Operator to join its Shreveport service center. You will work Monday‑Friday on various shifts, moving freight safely in and out of enclosed trailers on a roofed dock.
Key responsibilities
- Operate a forklift to load and unload freight from trailers up to 53 feet long.
- Handle freight on a non‑climate‑controlled dock while following safety procedures.
- Read and verify shipping manifests and interact with computer displays for tracking.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
Required profile
- Ability to bend, lift, and stoop without difficulty.
- Dependable and able to work in a fast‑paced environment.
- Previous forklift experience, preferably in a high‑volume LTL setting.
- Basic computer literacy to read displays and input data.
