About the role

R+L Carriers has immediate opportunities for CDL‑A City Pickup & Delivery (P&D) drivers at its Shreveport, LA service center. Drivers will perform city deliveries and pickups of freight and return to the terminal each day.

Key responsibilities

• Perform city delivery and pickup of freight with multiple stops per working day.
• Operate scanning equipment and interact directly with customers.
• Complete liftgate deliveries using an electric pallet jack.

Required profile

• CDL Class A with at least 1 year of verifiable Class A driving experience within the past 3 years.
• Good driving record (MVR and PSP) with no serious violations and no more than three moving violations in the past 3 years.
• Age 23 (or 21 if meeting FMCSA specs for military‑to‑civilian transition).
• Pass pre‑employment DOT physical, drug screen, and road test.
• Ability to bend, lift and stoop without difficulty.

Required skills

• Operating an electric pallet jack.
• Using scanning equipment for freight handling.
