About the role
R+L Carriers is hiring a Freight OSD Clerk for its Shreveport, LA service center. The position starts at $17.66 per hour, full‑time, Monday‑Friday with various shift options and includes one week of vacation after 90 days.
Key responsibilities
- Investigate freight overages, shortages and damages on the dock.
- Document issues with photographs and coordinate resolution with customer service.
- Move and handle freight using a forklift and, when needed, a shrink‑wrap machine.
- Work in an open‑area, roofed, non‑climate‑controlled environment.
Required profile
- Strong problem‑solving, critical‑thinking and analytical abilities.
- Professional, self‑motivated, energetic with excellent attendance.
- Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced warehouse setting.
- Basic proficiency with Windows, Outlook and Microsoft Office.
Required skills
